See Green supports York Mind - #ItsOKToBeBlue
Mental ill-health is a big problem. I know this first hand. This week I plucked up the courage to share my own personal struggle with mental ill-health. It took a lot of doing, but if it helps at least one other person, then I know I've done something positive.
See Green is working with York Mind on their fabulous new website which will help service users, encourage more engagement with the charity through volunteering and fundraising, and help businesses look after employee mental health.
March has seen York Mind launch their It's Ok To Be Blue campaign, encouraging businesses, individuals, students and staff teams in York to help turn York blue and raise funds for mental health.
So what better time, I thought, to share my own story, to tell myself #ItsOKToBeBlue and launch our fundraising challenge for 2019.
My husband and fellow See Greener Dan will be aiming to run 1,000 miles in 2019, with the hope of raising £1,000 for York Mind. It's a challenge for both of us, and a cause that means a lot.
