Business Development Executive (BDE)

We are currently looking for a skilled business & sales executive to join our team. For this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and increasing business revenue by promoting our services to customers.

Your role will include:

  • Finding & securing new business opportunities
  • Building relationships with potential & existing customers, discovering their pain points and goals, and offer our services as a solution
  • Having meetings with customers, from initial introduction to discovery phase and checking in after the project has been completed
  • Working alongside our project manager to create proposals, product catalogues, gantt-charts and any other supporting documents
  • Following up with clients to suggest further developments/improvements on projects to enhance their business, or redesign opportunities for older websites & systems

Our sales executive will be:

  • Confident and well spoken as this role is mostly customer facing
  • Passionate and resilient, from lead to sign off, we know securing the sale is hard but we will be there to support you
  • Able to take ownership of this role and work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Able to multitask and prioritise workload where needed
  • Proactive rather than reactive, taking action to arrange meetings and follow up on leads

Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience working in a customer-facing role
  • High level of spoken & written communication skills
  • Experience creating supporting documentation
  • Interest in the digital sector
  • Strong negotiation & persuasion skills
  • Have a focus in sales

As we are a smaller team, many of our team wear many hats, so we hope that you will be able to jump in where needed. This may include assisting in copywriting for social media/blog posts, turning notes into a brief for our developers and maintaining timescales.

We are extremely proud of our customer support and we would like you to feel pride in that as well. Being able to sell our support package as part of the initial proposal and then checking in regularly to ensure their support is being used effectively and suggesting new opportunities for development.
