Getting visitors through the doors

The brainchild of Leicester Square Theatre director Martin Witts, the Museum of Comedy in London is an, interactive, immersive museum featuring iconic props and artefacts from our rich comedic history.

The website showcases forthcoming acts, exhibitions and workshops as well as information about visiting the museum on Bloomsbury Way.

Just like that

Something a bit different

The museum houses more than six thousand artefacts from Tommy Cooper’s handmade magic props to The Two Ronnies’ glasses, Charlie Chaplin’s cane and Steptoe and Son’s stuffed bear!

The museum has been lovingly put together by Martin with his collection of artefacts and print from some the most iconic comedians and comedy shows both past and present, amassed during his career spanning over three decades in the comedy industry.
